Knowbility is an organization that supports the independence of people with disabilities by promoting the use and improving the availability of accessible information technology.

Knowbility is such a fun organization, and I wanted to bring that warmth and humanity to their website. For the design, it needed to be easily accessible and simple to use for everyone. It is going to be launched in mid-summer.

Makeup by Sheila is the personal online makeup store to Sheila Ibarra a high fashion beauty consultant.

Sheila wanted something feminine, sultry, lux and playful. Hello Brainstorm designed a very modern, yet girly site to accommodate both aspects of her business. Each page was planned out carefully from the beginning, making it very easy for a customer to navigate through.

Interactive Strategies is a yearly conference held in Houston, TX covering the latest interactive strategies, innovative concepts and advanced technologies.

I wanted the new design to focus on human interaction. The project also involved many contests and newsletter blasts that used Twitter and Facebook audiences to get more ticket sales.

Independence Heights

Independence Heights is a historic neighborhood in the Heights district of Houston, Tx.

This was a pro-bono design I made in the AIR Houston competition, where you have 8 hours to code and implement the site using current web standards and in an accessible, user-friendly way. I wanted the site to be very rich and warm, taking in to mind the neighborhoods historic and friendly community.

Pitched and took the lead on this project from concept planning, wireframing and designing the front and backend platforms. Worked closely with the development group to make sure the functionality of the sight was seamless and blended well with the frontend.

Three Brothers Bakery

Three Brothers Bakery is Houston's premiere family owned and operated bake shop since 1949.

The brothers wanted me to work in the logo that they have had since the beginning and give their site a new refreshing look. I set out to make a very delicious and well organized site. Playing up the baked goods as the focal points of each page.

Pop Labs

Pop Labs is a small web design and marketing agency, with local and nation-wide clients.

I was assigned to redesign the company's corporate site. On the new rebrand I wanted to give the site a retro mad scientist look. The end result ended up being a very custom design with various subpage templates and a fun user experience. This site also got the honor of being in many CSS galleries, including CSS Mania and Smashing Mag.
